This website is a long overdue for our family history.
Our family is spread over four continents
(hey, if there is anyone named Naumowicz in Africa or Asia I want to know about it :-))
It started with My cousin Peter (Warsaw, Poland) who instigated this friendly "competition" about finding out about our past and our ancestors. It turned out to be the project of our lives. We are fully aware that we will never find all Naumowicz family members in the world but at least we can try to "dig" as deep as we can having fun at the same time.
This website and the documents, pictures and information we collect will be the main topic for future family gatherings and gossips and (I hope) will inspire others to work with us to increase our archive and help us to know each other better. The sad reality is that the extended family often gets together only for the weddings and the funerals. We hope that this website will unite us because we all share the same precious thing: our family name.
I would like to officially invite all Naumowicz family members to participate in this fun endeavor and report who you are, where are you from and how we are related. I'm sure that you will discover exiting new information you never knew about your family and you will be proud, as we are to be the member of an elite family that spans the ages of history.
